Come learn about the joy of incorporating native California medicinal plants into your garden. Fall and early winter are the prime seasons for planting our local California natives and this workshop will help you to get ready. This workshop will specifically be focusing on California Poppy, Black Sage, and California Mugwort during this workshop; but many of the techniques, skills, and resources are transferrable to a variety of other native plants. It will cover planting, caring for, harvesting, and utilizing medicine from these plants; as well as how to incorporate them into your existing garden.
The workshop will be hosted at Meiners Oaks Community Garden. 307 s Padre Juan Ave.
The garden is located in the Meiners Oaks neighborhood of Ojai. Parking is limited. Please consider carpooling, biking or walking and be mindful when parking as not to block mailboxes or driveways.
We love your pets but unfortunately, they are not allowed in the garden or to be tied up in front.
**Please note that there is no bathroom on site at the garden. There are public restrooms nearby at various businesses along El Roblar Drive.
