Community Skillshare Event: Skills for a Sustainable Garden and Home

What to Expect

Join us for a community-centered Earth Day Skill Share at Meiners Oaks Community Garden!

Whether you're a green thumb or just curious, this event is perfect for sharing handy tips, learning new tricks, and connecting with fellow garden enthusiasts. Bring your questions, your energy, and a love for growing sustainably. Let's grow together and make our communities greener!

This is a relaxed, hands-on event designed for learning, connecting, and spending time outdoors. Local teachers and community members will be hosting interactive stations where you can drop in, learn something new, and try it yourself.

✨ How it works:

Each topic will have its own booth and will repeat every 30 minutes, so you can move freely between stations throughout the event.

❋ Herbal Medicine with Lauren Snyder
❋ Listening to the Oaks with Julie Tumamait Stenslie
❋ Nature Journaling with Lauren Nilsson
❋ Plant ID with Sophie Mclean
❋ Compost with Morgan Visalli and Logan Oliver
